BWFC rally to support an
Under 9 player and his family
A little over a week ago Aaron Richardson a Buderim Wanderers under 9
Soccer Player was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Since then his parents Stacey
and Scott have been in Brisbane
at his side as Aaron begins his treatment. While everyone is optimistic
about Aarons recovery his family are living with every parents worst nightmare
of a child going from the fittest player on the soccer field to a ward at the
Royal Children’s Hospital in a space of 48 hours.
Obviously there are
substantial financial burdens that families in this situation face along with
the difficult emotional rollercoaster related to the treatment.
The club is asking for your
assistance to raise money to help this family in their time of need. You
can help by donating money, buying raffle/doubles tickets at 1st
division home games or donating alcohol and Goods to fill a wheelbarrow to be raffled.
Other fund raising events are being planned over the next few months.
Because we are such a big club, if
everyone donated just a little, we can really make a difference and help this
family out.
